Our Environmental Management System is accredited to ISO14001.
From the planning stage of each contract we will make every effort to reduce our environmental impact. We will endeavour to recycle/re-use as much salvage as possible from demolition works as well as careful consider the use of machinery in order to minimise carbon emissions.
Health and Safety
It is the company’s policy to take all reasonable actions to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees in compliance with The Health & Safety at work Regulations NI (2000) and to ensure that all facilities, equipment, etc, is maintained in a safe condition at all times. To attain these standards and conditions, the following requirements must be met:-
- The provision of, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe areas of work within the facilities at all times, with proper means of access and exit.
- The provision and maintenance of plant, equipment, tools, etc, that are, so far as is reasonably practicable, safe and without the risk to health.
- The provision of such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of all employees whilst they are at work.
- The company will ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that persons not employed by the company, but who may be affected by the company’s activities, are not exposed to risks to their health and safety.
We are committed to the communities where we work through the employment of local people and suppliers where appropriate.
At the Royal Victoria Hospital we were awarded Considerate Constructors accreditation and we presented plants/gardening equipment to local school, as well as play equipment to the Children’s Hospital.
In our local community we have donated to the Cancer Patients Comfort Fund, Termonmaguirc as well as sports equipment to the local sports club.
